Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
This policy covers the Peak & Page Puzzles app and this website, peakandpage.app. Peak & Page, based in Switzerland, is responsible for them. Questions: hello@peakandpage.app.
The short version. You never give us your name, email or phone number. Your player name is made up by the app. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we don't sell or share your data. You can delete everything from inside the app at any time.
What the app keeps on our server
- A random player ID. It is created when you first open the app, so your results can be counted without an account.
- Your player name. The app makes it up from a word list (for example "Teal Fox 482"). You can shuffle it, but you can't type your own, so it never says who you are.
- Your daily puzzle results: when you started and finished, your time, your mistakes and your rank. Other players see your player name and time on the ranks.
- Playing together: your pairing with your partner, the pairing code, and the marks you both make in shared puzzles. Your partner sees your player name and your marks. Reactions and "is here now" go straight to your partner's phone and are not stored.
- The Duo Pass: the date your pass ends, if you or your partner buy one.
What stays on your phone
Your streak, The Climb, the puzzles you solved and your reminder time are kept on your phone only. The daily reminder is scheduled by your phone itself: we don't send it, and we don't receive a notification token.
Purchases
The Duo Pass is paid through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions for us, receives the purchase record and your player ID so that our server knows whether a pass is active.
Who handles the data for us
- Supabase: the database and the anonymous sign-in. Data may be stored on servers in the United States.
- RevenueCat: Duo Pass subscriptions.
- Apple and Google: the app stores and payments, under their own privacy policies.
- Cloudflare: this website and our email.
These providers process data only to run their service for us. Like any server, they keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the service secure. Where data leaves Switzerland or the EU, it is protected by the providers' standard contractual clauses.
Why we use it
To run the app you chose to use: the daily puzzles, the ranks, playing together and the Duo Pass. And to keep the ranks fair and the service secure.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no advertising or analytics tools in the app.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone for advertising.
- No access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- No chat: players can't send each other messages, only the four reaction emoji between partners.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data while you use the app. To delete it, open Ranks in the app and tap Delete my data. This immediately deletes your player name, results, pairing, shared puzzles and pass record from our server, and your progress from your phone. Deleting the app by itself doesn't delete the server data, so use Delete my data first. You can also email us.
Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat for billing and tax are deleted under their own rules. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@peakandpage.app. Because the app has no accounts, include your player name so we can find you. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland the FDPIC, in the EU the authority of your country.
Children
The app is for all ages and asks no one for personal information: no names, emails, photos or messages. Player names are made up by the app. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
This website
peakandpage.app uses no cookies and no analytics. Cloudflare delivers the pages. If you email us, we use your email only to reply. Links to Amazon, Etsy, Instagram and TikTok lead to their sites and their privacy policies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
